Motion Builder - Prop bone animation


Hi Guys,
In need of help in a couple of things. Please help.

  1. After transferring the data from c3d to actor and to the character, how will i animate the gunbone or prop bone in hands ?? so that when any prop is being linked to hands, it should be placed properly.

  2. When transferring data from actor to character, the neck behaves very weird…!!!. Is it common…? Or am i doing something wrong in retargetting?.

For the Neck problem it could be in the rigging of the neck and head bone position of your character. I have had this before. And also it can be a bad Mocap file and you can use an additive layer to correct the rotation.

But really kinda need to see a screen grab or animation of the problem to be more specific.
