More tutorials pleazzzz

#1

Although there are quite a few simple and moderate tuts at luxology, I am really in a need for more, rather complexer tutorials.
since I am modeling an animal, i run into things like: complex roundings for which i do not have enough polygons at that area and so on. I am looking at the Hypo, the cameleon and also the chainsaw, headphones…

So would someone please share these tutorials if they exsist, or make some???

Well look at:
http://homepage.mac.com/sphere3d/Modo/PhotoAlbum34.html

What i mean is clear here.! I need more subtle bumps in my model. And the jaws. This could be made by bevel and bend tool, but than i get one smooth jaw, while i need more segments.

How do i proceed with the jaw and also the connection between the bodyparts??

Thanks

If you cut your edge loops and then manipulat those you should be fine. Also if you up the number of sections on your bevel when making the jaws you will have more polys to play with. But the fact is to get irregularitys you are going to have to move things around on your own. Part of head modelling is to finally take it out of symmetry mode and start to manipulate the individual polys on their own to give the face more texture.

Look for loop slice to add more polys to the body and then to the tool properties funcition to add more definition and all when beveling and extruding and all that fun stuff.

Just remember when using a control cage or sds the closer you but your polys to each other the harder an edge you get.
