Monkey Island, Critique

Hi Guys,
Short story - I’ve been more or less on the sidelines for a few years (moved into management) and trying to get back into things by finishing a few pictures.
I’m pretty happy with this Monkey Island tribute but I’m hoping for some critique to just push it over the line. When you stare at something too long you can’t see the issues anymore.

Overall this looks quite good.

The couple of things I think can use a bit more work are:

The falling chunks of cement on the left side needs more definition, since they’re a bit too impressionistic compared to the rest of the image.

The treasure chest needs better clarification of the surface materials. Gold needs to looking more convincingly as gold, wood as wood, etc. Differentiate the levels of specularity and amount of textures between them more.
