great tutorials, can’t wait to see more, hope you will take sometime for color so that we can forget the greyscale method (shiver)
When using the blender settings I get when doing fast streaks just a string of round shapes instead of a fluent line, so I wondered if this was normal.
Skurai sorry mate had to work today, but tomoorrow theyre comin
jmBoekestein suit urself it has its faults and advantages:D
naresh more tomorrow
Trignom well this is still just the intro stuff the good stuff is on the way after the tomoorrows batch
enialadam did u try a larger brush with a featherlike pressure for the ultra sweet blending, it is awesome
sergioKomic tons:)
Vyse_soa i know it depends on the computer, it is a torturer buth worth it, try decreasing count its a trick thet works, it will look grainier but u can solve it by powering up ur blur tool and ull do so by switching the settings from smudge and there ULTRABLUR IT WILL SUPERTWEAK THE GRAININESS AND IS WAY MORE POWERFUL THAN STANDARD
aylien TRY DIFFERENT PREASSURES, CHECK IF U HAVE OTHER DYNAMICS ACTIVATED
damn caps lock
Blatt yes i started with count 6 initialy but found my optimum on 10
InesD no prob, more tomorrow
Prs-Phil dont worry well do them both… buuut ill make u reconsider the grayscale, ull see how simple it is:D
Seratogui probably the spacing under brush tip shape, which brush are u using, only scatter and other dynamics must be acrivated
say nebezial,
what kinda system are you running at? also for your canvas in PS, what size of document do you usually work in?
i usually go about 120 ppi, and have to stay in a 800x400 pixel canvas, unless i want my system to right stop working. thanks for the tutorials.
Soft Round 21 1, only those two are on, 39/10 in scatter settings and I get the string of round shapes instead of a fluent shape, but only when I do fast lines. When I do incredibly slow lines, they somehow seem to merge.
neb, this is very welldone, gracefully tutored and everything is so very well told:)thanks alot for sharing this.![]()
I will have to give that a try, unnfortunatly the college don’t have tablets so i’m gonna download the trial version of cs and have a go with my tablet at home. hopefully I will be able to get hold of cs permanantly soon. Thanks for the tip!
Oh yes ! My hero did his tut !!
Have to try your techniques on my own, think I’m gonna start comics-ing soon ^^
Anyway, thanks a lot for your work it’s really helpfull for beginners in digital coloring like me.
Well, this is my where my first attemp with this tecnique has taken me so far. What do you think guys&gals. Obviously is not done, but i could use some C&C.

Forgot to mention, it’s a doppleganger.
Thanks nebezial :buttrock:

i know what your problem is … go to the brush settings menu and check if the number shown in the red circle is set to 1%

this is ps cs so if u got another version it might be found somewhere else ( sry i dont know the english name of the setting )
Now my problem with it is that it doesnt stay at 1% for me and i alyways have to change it before i start working in ps
well time to continue planimetry of the face is a simple way to break the face down…hehehe… into smaller planes which are easier to calculate

now that u have blender many old tools get a boost of importance, liquify is a ster now this is a low down dirty trick, i would like to see some of ur examples
