Modeling problem

sonetines I need to select a vertex, polly, whatever, to animate a mesh and when I zoom in to do it, part of the mesh disaoears, even in perspective view.
Must I respect the view grid?
Am I modeling too big?

switch to orthographic

Thank ypu kindly, Vusta, but my copy is too old.
Sertched everywhere and nothing about orthographic view.
I will go on like before, trying to hit the polly target.

so if you click on Perspective in the top left corner of your viewport, does that not give you Ortho option ?

nope, my max is a student copy ftom 2003
