It seems that www.wings3d.sw is down, and www.wings3d.com is back online and working. Do a search and stop acting like an ass!:shame:

:surprised pretty rude for someone asking for a favor.

Also I really wouldn’t say that wings 3d is a better modeling package than 3dsMax.

#7

For polygonal modelleing imo Wings 3d is better. If you can get accomodate with it’s workflow, you can work faster with it and in a more intuitive way. I used bot for modelling for severeal years.
I don’t want to start a Wings <-> Max war.

#8

Sorry bout the attitude.I have 3ds Max trial now so thanks all.

To each their own. I personaly make it a point to try my hand on as many of the packages as possible. All of these programs are just tools like a pen or paint brush.

Gimp is right here:

In fact, it’s X/Unix program, but they have M$ version as well (without tablet support, though).
Also check out Blender:

Despite its very interesting interface, it’s quite robust and productive environment.

Gimp is a paint program I think.And blender…welll.Whats it do???To make it simpler.I need a 3d modeler that will extract a file in these 3 formats=.v3m,.v3d,and v3c.
