Job Description: Lead Character Artist

Reports to: Art Lead - Shanghai

Salary range: Commensurate with experience

Job summary:

Red 5 Studios is currently seeking applicants for a Lead Character Artist to become part of our Art Team to be based in Shanghai, China. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ Years as a production modeler in the film or game industry; experience in high-poly, sub-d modeling; and the ability to create a wide range of models from vehicles to organic characters. Candidates must have experience working in a 3D software package, such as 3DS Max, Maya, XSI, etc. as well as experience using Zbrush. Additional qualifications sought for this position include

skill in character rigging and setup; skill in texturing; experience leading artists in a team setting; and experience setting and maintaining schedules.

Candidates must have experience working in a 3D software package, such as 3DS Max, Maya, XSI, etc. Additional qualifications sought for the position include experience using Zbrush and experience working in a team setting.

Job summary:

Red 5 Studios is currently seeking applicants for Texture Artists to become part of our Art Team to be based in Shanghai, China. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of professional art production in the computer game industry; excellent illustrative skills, including painting texture maps using Adobe Photoshop; and a good eye for color theory and attention to detail. Candidates must have a fundamental understanding of 3DStudio Max, good communication skills; ability to follow directions from a Lead Artist; and be comfortable working in team setting. A passion for playing computer games is significant plus.

Job Description: Lead Animator

Reports to: Art Lead - Shanghai

Salary range: Commensurate with experience

Job summary:

Red 5 Studios is currently seeking applicants for a Lead Animator to become part of our Art Team to be based in Shanghai, China. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years as a production animator in the film or game industry. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong, performance based animation skills; the proven ability to create outstanding mechanical and organic character animation; and a thorough understanding of at least one 3D software package, such as 3DS Max, Maya, XSI, etc. Additional qualification sought for this position include skill in character rigging and setup; skill in sub-d modeling; skill in texturing; and experience leading artists in a team setting as well as experience setting and maintaining schedules.

-Experience in top game developer and outsourcing companies is preferred

-Good English communication skill is essential.

-Degree owner from formal Art School is preferred
