model:power strip?

WOW, i find myself modelling the strangest things. i think this came out pretty good. i tried uv mapping it, but it didnt look right. i also have a question, i take a screen shot of wings using paint shop pro. i have no problem compressing a smooth shaded screen grab down to 20,000 bytes. but when i try to take a screen grab of the shaded wire the file size is huge and compressing starts to get real ugly around 45,000 bytes. if any one knows why or knows a way around this i would love to know. thanx

and what the hell, may as well throw this on here. been working on this a while. i will eventually get rid of the bad colors and uv it.

Save as a no dithered gif sinse you basicaly have only a few colors… as for the artifacting from jpeg, certain colors show this effect worse than others and red is the worst color of all… big time artifacting… as suggested… gif… non dithered… 32 clolor should bring this in at around 18,000 bytes or less… I tried yours at 22 colors and it ended up around 15,00 bytes and this is from your pic which has more info re artifacting than would with just a straight save… same same for shaded shots… gif, low colors is the way to go

good luck eh
