For the buttons he could have:

Beveled a vertice and shaped it into that circle (like making the porch posts in the dog house tutorial, in the wings manual), and then used a smooth operation.

(There are many other ways, hopefully i was “near” right. :p)

and i happen to have some problems, see those lines? i want them to dissapear, people told me to ignore them as they wont appear in the final render, but they disturb me…anyway, just wanted to show you what im doing!!!
