MishaART sketchbook

#1

Allright… Because Im going to draw some random stuff and don't want to post multiple threads - Im gonna start my sketchbook.

My goal is to learn how to create landscapes and conceptual drawings - so is you have any hints or advices - please share.

So… this is my first painting - done this evening with Corel Painter, took me around 3hours…

The first one wasn’t very impressive, but all the black and white ones are gorgeous!
Did you do those in Painter?

BTW-what is lasso-painting? Sorry for my ignorance.

All the updates were painted in Photoshop
and lasso-painting is just regular painting but with use of Lasso Tool (in Photoshop for example) to separate some areas and to get sharp edges
I was using that tool to put some bigger and smaller areas of colour - and then I was just developing what I’ve got from the mess

I love drawing portraits… Have I told this earlier?

Anyway… I had a break in drawing because my exams at the university, but at friday I wrote the last exam and I had to grab a pencil (actually a lot of pencils) and draw some beautiful woman  And here it is - just a random portrait, done just for fun

Nice portrait sketching there MishaArt. I like the realistic of it, the toning on the hair is well done. Keep doing mate. Love the sketches
