i’m working on modelling a head… and i noticed that when i mirror my object, two quad’s were converted to tri’s when mirrored?
has anyone had this happen to them…is there a fix or is this some kinda bug?
i tried mirroring it 4-5 different times, with subD’s on and off.
i’ll post the object you’ll see the poly’s in question in the nose area…

Works fine for me.
Try this:
Hit m for merge
shift i for unify
make sure you dont have any points from one side intruding over the over side.

I looked at your object file. All you need tot do is press ‘m’ to merge any overlapping points, then everything is fine. After that you can just mirror without the previous error.
