mirror how to make real?

How do you attach the mirrored object to your model so taht its 1 solid pice and there is no polygon in the middle? Is there a quick way to do this or do i have to duplicate the real on and flip in x,y, or z axis and combine? but how do i weld vertex’s? THanks

nm i found it in the manual
"
model, Mirror, continue to model, select the
middle edge loop and do a Loop Cut, Delete
the half of the model that needs to be
updated, and then Mirror again."

Or you could use virtual mirror…

Select the reference poly.
Tools>Virtual Mirror>Create
Work on either side and have both be affected.
Either Freeze or Break the VM as needed.

i love how you can work with either side with wings mirror. But i was already done modeling and wanted to attach the other side. basicly, make it non virtual. :slight_smile:

then you have to go to

tools > virtual mirror > freez.

now it is one pice.
