Military airfield in the desert

are you sculpting your cloth or are you using a simulation ? It looks amazing.

Wow I love those model! Great attention to detail and the fabric, especially on the Sojus, looks very very nice. Doesn’t research take a long time on this to find out where is what? Looks like a million things that need to be in the correct place. What’s your reference?
Did you sculpt the Sojus fabric in Zbrush?

This is going to be amazing, very nice topic too!

Cheers
Andre

Hi,
Do you work in nasa? :buttrock::eek:
There is so much details in models.I like the nice soft lighting on space suits and color grades too . Please fill us with some more wips. I would like to know more about your modeling texturing process.

Hi,
All fabric parts were sculpted in ZBrush by Anastasia.
I collected a large number of images on the Internet it is probably all that is possible to find the Net. Unfortunately in most of the photos resolution are not enough for understanding of small geometry.
[Dirtvic]We do not work at NASA, unfortunately.

So now C-17 globemaster III!

very nice models,

but im not convinced at all by the lighting and shaders at this point. keep pushing them too ,)

‘Gravity’ should serve as a great source of reference for many closeup shader details

#131

Main goal was to show our old models. A couple of years they lay as archive on a disks my PC. something we have improved a bit, but we did not have specific ideas for composition and haven’t motivation to spend more time for that project

#132

Hi Alexey:

Been following this thread since I first joined CGSociety in Jan 2013, stand out pieces IMHO are the M1A1 Abrams and the characters/crew let me just say man… they’re mouth wateringly detailed to the max…

For me truly UHQ standalone examples too aspire to in fact on par with Andre’s mind blowing Mil Mi-24 Hind IMHO…

Anyways again just a fan saying hi, keep up the “off tha chain” work.

Cheers

Beautiful work Alexey. I am loving the amount of precision you are putting in you models. I hope you come back to your space project someday too. I too feel you could still improve much on that one.

#139

Maybe some days I’ll make animation and interior render for demo-reel, but firstly I must improve my compose skills

#140

Ye its just the tip

Great stuff poisk
