I don’t bother commenting in threads very often, but this definitely deserves it.
The lighting and the photography are very good, and those combined with the frequency of the detail communicate a sense of scale where Walt’s bust would probably be about 1:1, and everything else is much smaller, probably to the size of the illustrations where Walt holds Mickey on his hand.

I don’t know if it was intentional or if I’m reading too much into it, but regardless, it’s a very heartwarming piece executed very concisely. Like it very much.

Great concept, and great realization!

The only thing I’ve to say is that the Mickey’s head should be more opened to the camera, because I think that now his expression is not so readable. He’s almost in profile, and we loose contact with him.

Wow awesome, congratulations!!
I really like the idea, the concept, and also how you lighted the scene. Beautiful.
The only (very minor) ‘negativ’ thing I see is that Walts sculpture looks like it has even skin pores… that looks like a bit too much detail for a sculpture.
But that’s really just a detail :slight_smile:

Very nice piece!
The only thing that sticks out to me as odd, are Mickey’s ears. In 2D, Mickey’s ears always face the camera, and aren’t actually attached to fixed points on the skull. But I’m just being picky. Keep up the good work!

A very nice peace of art! I love the mood of your scene.

I can feel that Mickey is proud of his sculpt and want to give something back to Walt.

Mickey’s hand is going through the shelf. You should fix this to not break the magic…

lol love the idea. only thing is i think his ears need to be bigger because theyre disproportionate to his body due to his huge head. Might just be the angle though.
