mia_ and misss_fast_skin issues


I’m trying to render a character w/ glasses on. I’m using miss_fast_skin material for the head’s shader, and the mia_material for the transparent lens of the glasses. It doesn’t seem to be working properly.

It looks like the mia_material is causing anything else to not render or at least anything w/ some sort of transparency to render incorrectly.

Any suggestions? I’ve got no idea.


turn up your refraction trace depth in mental ray globals to 3 and in the material for the glass
also make sure the head geometry is set to ‘visible in refractions’
