[font=Trebuchet MS]Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, the candidate shall act as a mediator between Sales, Client(s), both current and potential, Production Management Teams and Administration. The candidate must be able to evaluate, manage and control all aspects and dimensions of each project currently in production within the studio.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Supervise and approve all timesheets pertaining to the Production Management Team(s).
§ Responsible for both participating in and thereafter approving each outgoing bid;
§ Responsible for all internal direct costs & budget(s), and upholding all established gross profit margins;
§ In collaboration with each Departmental Director, responsible for both the creation and overall structure of action and management plans of all new projects;
§ Responsible for tracking and providing extensive support to all projects, including assisting Producers who might be dealing with difficult issues, and communicating/flagging potential problems;
§ Responsible for ensuring a maximum usage of all resources, resolving conflicts and prioritizing between the various projects;
§ In collaboration with the Director of Technology, responsible for overseeing the internal Pipeline’s evolution, in order that it may be in accordance with all upcoming projects;
§ Responsible for organizing and following-up on all post-mortem action plan(s);
§ Responsible for the Production Management Team’s yearly evaluations and corresponding follow-ups, if necessary.
§ Responsible for playing an active role in both the recruitment and hiring of all new Production Managers.
§ Responsible for all training, so as to verify that is in fact adequate for all parties involved. If and/or when necessary, also suggest a training program for the Managers;
§ Keep the various projects updated and informed of all decisions made and changes thereafter affecting their workflow(s).
§ Certify that all managerial decisions are in fact followed and respected.
REQUIREMENTS
§ Highly developed Project Management Skills.
§ Excellent People Management Skills.
§ Sense of achievement and leadership.
§ Preferably bilingual (French and English, both written & spoken).
§ Good communication skills, combined with a positive & collaborative attitude.
§ 5 years experience as VFX Producer, or the equivalent.
§ Both highly efficient and productive, even while under pressure and with strict deadline(s).

Ability to respect very demanding deadlines at times, collaborative spirit, high level of flexibility and adaptability, leadership, excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical mind, sound judgment, team spirit, commendable interpersonal skills, creativity within the decision-making process and excellent organizational skills.
