Hi, i would like to kown if there are any tutorials/training materials for learning messiah fundementals like navigation/ui/controls etc. also is there a way of switching from default navigation to maya style ALT navigation system.

The best tuts Ive used are the ones by Joe Cosman (google him). They go right thru the basics and are very informative. The only downside is that they were created for an older version of Messiah, so sometimes you may find yourself hunting for a button that has moved in more recent versions of the software. They are still pretty good value.
Check out Zoogono.com and thesetuptab.com. You may find more useful stuff there too.
AFAIK, you can change the navigation to something similar to Maya, but I havent tried it.
I’m sure someone will be able to tell you how to do it.

Follow ‘HowToInstallKeyboadShortcuts.txt’ in your messiah\KeyboardShortcuts document. You can also customize your keyboard shortcuts under Customize - > keycommand manager.
