Messiah demo running in Ubuntu Linux!!!

#1

Wee!

I wish I could say it was usable but. . . it isn’t. The vesa drivers Parallels use for their virtual machine aren’t nearly as fast as Messiah is on the same hardware with XP. Plus Parallels creates a Virtual Machine with only one core. So even though this is a dual cpu workstation. . . its only got one brain when its emulating windows.

I NEEDED to see it work and I finally did.

Crossover didn’t give me any love. :frowning: Wine. . . no love. It took a while to get this working. Lots of kernel source files. . . qt3 compilers etc etc.

Linux isn’t for the faint of heart.

But then again I guess Messiah isn’t either.
