Mesh artifact / weird shadow fix?


I don’t know what happened im using blender but it looks like I have a shadow but im not in pre render mode so all lighting is flat. nothing is clipping either

Anyone know how to fix?



It doesn’t look like a shadow to me. Is that one long thin triangle? Have you flattened those polygons? Because it looks to me like that polygon isn’t planar with the other two somehow. Can you delete that top most vertex above the crease? It’s not clear how it’s contributing to the overall shape.


I figured it out. I messed up when using the knife tool
