Hi,
Here is a project I am working on. It all began with a little concept drawing I did for a class assignment last summer. I had been wanting to make a 3D character for quite sometime so as soon as we went on vacation I took that concept and began building it in 3ds Max. First things first, this is the original concept:

Classes began again in September so I had to postpone my work on it. This is as far as I got:


This year, as soon as I was done with my final exams and having learned how to sculpt in Mudbox, I have resumed work on the character. As a side note, Mudbox has been very helpful and it is real fun and easy to use, can’t wait to try ZBrush which seems to be even more powerfull than Mudbox. Anyway, here is the detailed model:


I am now working on the textures and shaders. This is my first time using the mr fast skin shader. I have to admit I am a bit overwhelmed by the amount of parameters it has, I did not even know where to start at first. Also, most of the tutorials I have found on the internet are focused on human skin so I am improvising as I go. I would appreciate any tips or advice you could give me with it.
