Hey guys,
just a short question: Do you know any special tricks or tipps for rendering large scenes with Skylight IBL in mental ray; 3ds max 2016? Maybe with some string options im not aware of?
Reason is: I have some trouble rendering a huge asteroid field with a very big and detailed roid in the middle. It takes a long time to render and setting the shadow quality does not seem to help me out; i cannot decrease rendertime considerably that way.
Scene has round about 280.000 objects.
Any tipps would be much appreciated.
