Melt and bones?

#1

Is it possible to combine those? When I turn the bone deformer on the melt effect dissapear. The layer order does not make any difference.

#2

have you activated “use pre-deformed points” on the bone effect?

I guess not… Thanks

I know that Joe already answered your question, but I’m curious about something.

When you say “layer order does not make any difference”, to what are you refering? If you’re refering to the effect order, it most certainly does make a difference. If Melt is after BoneDeform in your effect list, BoneDeform can never override Melt’s effect. It’s only if Melt comes bofore BoneDeform will you be required to set “use pre-deformed points” on BoneDeform.

Can you clarify?

Of course, When I wrote the post when I was very very tierd, and I tought I tried everything.

I made the layer order chance and I did not move back to the animator tab therefore I missed to see the melt effect. embarrising…

While im still at it are there any way to get the camera data (and object positions as nulls) from messiah directly in to After effects without using a host program like C4d.
