On first glance, the upper one works better. What I’d actually recommend would be combiining the two versions to have a white strip of sea foam that appears thinner as it goes into the distance. Here’s a paintover showing what I mean by that, and with a couple suggestions about the horizon and the area where the ship meets the water.

Naresh, I really adore those environment studies displayed on #33. They’re very transporting and the composition and palette is just top notch. 
Thanks Dan…but it’s really hard pull out some time for personal stuff… …but cant stop my self to scribble some…here is one yesterday i have scribbled in 15min… :rolleyes:

I agree with you about the short time for work on personal project…time is the big enemy of creativity…
