MCT - My New Rigging Reel

#21

thanks guys, I put a lot of effort into this, it`s great to see that people share my optimism reagarding this way of animating and rigging stuff!
Yippeeaah! :wavey:

#22

I’m expecting that you’ll get a call from Autodesk pretty soon … they seem to be in shopping mode currently and what could better fit into the next Maya than a total pimp up of there rigging/animation toolset!
Very impressive! I really like that there’s still someone rethinking pretty old ways of doing something and trying to create something better with fresh ideas!

#23

very good work ***** for me

#24

First of all… WOW very impressive tool i’d really love to try it hehe…

i only have one question… since i’m a maya MAC user i know many plugins wont work on MAC for some reason… i just wanted to know if yours do?

thanks

#27

Wow.

Impressive work. I really hope this becomes a plug-in. It would make our lives as animators so much easier.

Have you thought about implementing some cartoony features into it (Squash and stretch, IK spines…)? I think that will be really cool to have in there too…just a thought :slight_smile:

Great work Jan!

#28

Hi guys, thanks for your nice comments!!!

the plug-in works on win ( + x64), mac and linux. It`s just a matter of recompiling the code.
If I knew how to make screenshots on linux, I could post one as well:

And a little bit of squash and stretch is already in there, but not fully, deformation is next on my ToDo-list.
Cheers and Thanx!

Wow you finally posted this! :slight_smile:

That is indeed some cool ideas I have seen recently. Congratulations on finishing this up. Could you tell us about how you approached this and how long did it take?

#32

Any idea when this will be available?

#33

thanks guys!
@avinashnet24: it is a module consisting of a plug-in, scripts and icons.
@Pisellino: thanks man!
@theflash: I think it took me forever, mostly to streamline the workflow over and over again and have a really easy interface.
@fahr: sorry, no. :shrug:

Everybody have a great week, accept no limits! :buttrock:
