Maya with Houdini Engine output weird Normals on the model


hi guys, been stuck with this problem for quite a while.

Geometry generated from houdini engine seems to have different normals from maya.

may I know what did i do wrong? which SOP needed to add in houdini so it display correct normal in maya?


You can simple adjust the normals back in Maya.

Need to adjust cusp angle
In facet SOP.
