Maya Pivot Coordinates


Hey everyone,
i was trying out Maya and one thing was quite irritating. Example: If i create a cube in eg Cinema 4D, the pivot is in the center - at XYZ 0,0,0. If i move the pivot to a corner vertex the XYZ coordinates will change, but not in Maya.

Is there a way to replicate the behaviour of C4D in Maya?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated
