A new Maya 7.0 plugin has been compiled… woot! that’s great… except…
At work are still on Maya 6.5.1 for the duration of this project and beyond for a while, I’ve been wanting to test the Maya->Messiah functionality for a while but the current Maya 6.0 plugin WILL NOT work with Maya 6.5.1 (which is the newest version before 7.0), and alas, it seems all that was included in the latest release was the old Maya 6.0 version and a newer Maya 7.0 version. (as well as the old old ones)
I guess I’ll just wait until the whole studio moves to Maya 7.0 or what ever the newest version at the time is (Probably 7.5 by then which wont work with the 7.0 plugin… lol)
Anyway… I guess the point of this post is… it would be nice if the plugins supplied would get updated whenever the new versions of the host app where released.
