Maya 2012 Rigging Tutorials

#1

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone knows of any decent tutorials they could recommend. I’m fairly new to maya rigging and have version 2012. I’d like something that covers character rigging fairly in-depth. I know gnomon has this one:

http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/35/Character-Rigging%3A-The-Puppet-Rig

It looks as though it’s an older version of maya though. Have there been many improvements in the last few releases related to rigging?

TIA

Any money / time spent studying Jason’s Animator Friendly Rigging series is a wise investment in my opinion. No matter what level you are, I’m sure they’ll be hugely helpful…

Good luck
