checkbox align parameter does not functioniing.
string $window = `window -width 150`;
columnLayout -adjustableColumn true;
checkBox -label "Default";
checkBox -label "Left" -align "left";
checkBox -label "Centre" -align "center";
checkBox -label "Right" -align "right";
showWindow $window;
to see align differences run older versions.than in 2011.You will catch the problem.
Is anyone having problems copying from an IDE to the script editor? I can copy to any other panel except the script editor.
I’m having this problem in Win7 x64 and Maya 2011 x64.
This doesn’t happen in Linux.
When I bake 32bit float images, the automatically assigned texture after baking is a wrong one.
Win XP 64
I do not know if this is already posted.
Create mia_material_x , add bump without specifying file path for image. On bump ‘Use as:’ change to tangent or objet and it will instantly crash Maya.
Win7 64bit.
search for “align” here
the align-flag seems to be ignored in some of the old-UI-elemets ( hopefully they will going to implent it in future-versions again ( but it is “one of the changes in MEL/Python_commands” )
i am having the same problem in Windows xp64 (geforce GTX275 ).
but it does not happens , if i release the space-bar before releasing the left-mouse-button .
once i release the space-bar after releasing the mousebutton , maya will switch back again into prior view ( uncool )
( did anybody LOG this one already ? )
Thanks, I had found that… funny thing is that increasing the value actually increases the render time for me.
I’ve also tried some of the other bugs ppl have been listing and I have the “switching light types” that crashes maya as well.
My main problem seems to be 2011 taking more memory… or needing a “beefier” machine. As Maya is now crashing every other render for me.
Running XP x32 4G ram 2x quadro fx 3700
I’m on a 4 core mac pro 1st generation with a nVidia Geforce 8800 GT, 6 gb of 667mhz ram with 10.6.3 osx. Maya 2011 is basically unusable.
Is my computer too slow for maya 2011?
Do I have to configure something, drivers, preferences?
Or just go back to 2009 and hope the new 2011 service pack will work better?
I’ve been using maya for 5 years now and it’s never been this slow. :sad:
mental ray bug: its now impossible to get a clean, mirror like reflection! :surprised

Hi,
I’ve seen this problem here only when using a machine with a configured tablet. Uninstalling the tablet seemed to solve the problem (not sure about this, but could not reproduce the problem anymore). Has anyone seen this problem in a machine without a tablet?
