Elfufu you definitely don’t suck. This just reflects some peoples tastes. Van Gogh died pretty much broke and unknown. Wasn’t one of his paintings bought for the highest price to date? Don’t ever let a challenge upset you, have fun with it and experiment. Doesn’t mean a thing if the 100 or so people who vote like it or not, there’s an entire planet out there with people who will. This is fun and good, because people critique and comment. I don’t have that at home I work alone and none of my friends draw or paint or do any kind of CG.
If you were kidding don’t pay me any attention, but people just shouldn’t say that about themselves, they should say it about others. LOL!:thumbsup:

And let me tell you something else: don’t get me wrong, I think Koryh’s entrie (which will probably winn, looking at the stats) is fantastic. But people here seem to appreciate technical perfection more then a great concept (as in idea). And that does not only go for the challenge. Maybe that’s because we all come here (amongst other things) to perfect our drawing-skills, and these are just in-crowd things.

But my clients think otherwise. They can’t see the difference between a 10 out of 10 or a 9 out of 10. But a good concept they can recognize from a lesser one. And that pays me a very good living I might say :slight_smile:

So, I’m looking at the number of views and replies over on the 3D voting polls and I’m thinking that maybe we all suck cause we’re not 3D artists.

(yeah … I’m joking too.)

But it would be nice to feel some of that luvin’ here … know what I mean? Oh well … I’m ready to not finish the next challenge, how about you?

Oh well, compared to the challenge of last month, it’s not so bad. (Only System404 and myself putting up a finished. I was ****ing last out of 2 dammit :annoyed: ). If this development sets through, we will blow out cgtalk’s server in the upcoming challenge (LOL at my own stupid joke).

It’s crazy how people vote reflect always the most classic approach. I’m not saying KOryH did a bad post, IT’S a very good job for sure :thumbsup: , only not very risky.
