Been a while since I enter a digital matte painting challenge. I got some spare time this month I figure I put that time to good use.

Here are a few WIP shots, and like always c&c are welcome.

here I am trying to figure out what is causing the destruction of this city. Nothing is final yet, still got a few things I wanna try.

I’m back with another update.

I realize I have too many things in this shot that does not matter.

I will work my next WIP towards removing some detail and cleaning up the shot.

Another Update
With this WIP I went back to the clean plate and tried a couple variations without fire.

For this update, I am starting to introduce some mood and atmosphere. Refine the lighting a bit and preparing to finalize this image.
