[right]The Problem: The render results I achieve in fusion and max after color correction are not the same. The fusion result is brighter despite checking and rechecking the multiplier and gain values.

Can you post a simple 1 frame from each layer and your comp as a zip archive? Not having seen the dvd, i can’t even guess as to what may be going wrong.
