Hello !
I’d like give another possible solution to Aquila’s problem with importing Jpeg files. You could open your jpeg in Photoshop and check that your jpeg image is not saved in CMYK mode since Max only works with RGB based image files when importing.
To get rid of that you simply need to change image mode to RGB within Photoshop or else and save it again efore trying to import it in Max.
Well it could be something else, but maybe it helps.
Cheers !
PS : Sorry for my bad english…

You might want to try downloading again, or right-click and saving it to your computer since it works for me.
) your awesome tuts, yet i’ve run into a tiny problem. As i have mentioned before i use 3ds max 6 and in the seventh 101 tutorial which covers polygons and the edit poly function. Well ‘edit poly’ cannot be found in my modifier list…i kinda tried to use ‘edit mesh’ because you also have those vertices and face options etc. but at a certain point when you get deeper into those edit poly functions i can’t continue…could this function be found under a different name or should i just ignore it (or will i miss some hefty important basics if i do so)
