Hi there,
I once tried to project paintings on 3D-geometries.
Since Cinema 4D 8.5 supports camera-projection, it’s fun to use
this feature.
I’ve created an alien environment, which I want to use for a
“camera-pullback-animation”.
Why do I post this thread in the 2D-Section?
Because the most work I’ve done, is painting the matte with Photoshop 7. The block model was modelled in a couple of minutes with Cinema 4D, so it’s not worth posting that in the 3D-section:

This’s the blockmodel I started with:

As you see, at the first I’ve choosed some warm colors.
Later I replaced them with colder ones.
It would be interesting to know, what you think
about this way starting of a painting.
Feel free for critics and comments.
Thanks for viewing,
