Material Tutorials

Hey All,

Well, i’ve been following a tutorial for modelling a car (Thanks LionTR :thumbsup: ) and have been doing pretty well. I tried modelling a car a couple months ago and experimented with car paint material. Well, let’s just say it didn’t work out real well. I haven’t been able to find any tutorials on this subject, and was wondering if anyone knows of any tutorials on car paint material in general? Or does anyone have any tips on the subject? Also on the other part of the car - glass, tire, wheel chrome etc. as I have no idea how to do it. :shrug:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most 3d party renderers have some sort of carpaint material preset.

If ure just using scanline, here’s a decent tut:
