asdomg, you submit your images via the challenge page at http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/masterandservant/

Click on the “Sumbit Entry” link and follow the prompts. Since this is a formal challenge, the image submission must be done this way, not via forum attachments. That is handled automatically by the image submission page.

My original idea.

A little girl lost here parents when she was only 3 years old. only the loyal fat robot in her family lived with her near the village for years. In a sunny morning, the robot’s life almost came to a end. That robot took that lovely girl on his shoulder, walking in the forest.

“Stop here…”

“Want can I do for you, my lord?”

“You see something there?! Oh, is a flower! Take that for me!! I love it.”

“Yes, master”

When the robot was taking that flower, he felt something strange happened in his body, he just stopped no matter how hard he tried.

“Master…this…flower…is just…as…lovely…as…you”

the light in his eyes dimmed…

“What’s wrong with you?? reply me!! Move ! don’t stop , please not stop!!!..” the shut came into a sob.

The flower dropped. The sun was still shining , dropped the reflection on the robot’s skin…

This is 70% of my servant- a cute robot

Unforturnately, my harddisc was broke down before I copy the data of the master!!! So that means I waste almost a week !! oh my god!!

Actually I have little time to work on this project . Coz I’m gonna have 3 exam this week…:sad:
So…I always running away from class …which is a sad thing.
Anyway, I will work harder on both school and project:D

Here is the texture and shader for the shell. You may find the grey parts are still lambert, I’m trying to use different colour of metal to shade it,
But still, no idea about it…

Thanks mate. Actually it will be a hell lot of work to do to set up such a complex robot.

Anyway, Your post encouraged me to run away from my Visial communication class to continue my work ! :bounce:

YEAH! This robot is nearly finish. if you wants to ask me about what is the rest 1%…All I wants to say is…See the black dot on the shell, it’s object intersection.

by the way, I think this is the texture, maybe I will improve it by hand drawing texture after I redo the master:shrug:

looking awesome… reminds me of bender from Robots the movie but this guys much more sophisticated… great stuff dude./// lets see more… textures now? or thats it for his textures?
