suk-grigorij: Hi mate… :slight_smile: i dont mind you thinking about the ideas and thinks i write down. Ofcourse… the power of the master is born from the hard work of the slave/servant. And serving a master doesnt have to be a bad experience if the master is righteous and treats his servants well. I think its better to just look at our own history and the history of slavery. Its a bit easy to say that nobody can turn someone else into a slave without that person’s consent.
Deryk: Bah… busy for the next couple of days with work… hope to have it finished by saturday or sunday. So i’m not going to make any promises anymore about updates. :frowning: :blush:

Yes I understand you - external duties, work… I’m so happy that this week I’m free from my university lectures, but after … oh, I guess I will be able to dedicate myselt to this cg activity much less:(( Ok, I will not complain - everything in our life goes for better - we’ll gonna make it

Hey Jake Rupert, thanks for your comment. I presume you have not read my idea behind that last concept sketch:

Hope this makes it a bit clearer… I also want to make clear that i use this challenge to experiment, learn and try to think in different directions… not all of them have clear distinction between master and servant. it could turn out that i wont be modeling anything but just think about the theme and come up with different ideas. This will hopefully improve my skills in the emotional or evocative “department” as it feels like i still am bounded by shackles and that better ideas are just beyond my reach because lack of talent. This may sound a bit depressing but i think its a feeling most people here have.

anyways… it is far to long ago i posted any updates but i’m still working on my “Lovers” idea. I think i just take that idea and begin modeling and see where it takes me. I’m still pondering about making the Master aspect more clear… Love is their master, but should it be “invisible”? or should i present Love as a character or an iconic object.

So you see… i’m still in the challenge!! only having a bit of trouble with my own mind thats all.
