Hi nixOr, I like your demon especially the details you added on his face. Which software do you usually use for the painting ?

Very good work however.
Good luck.

After modeling for a while I think a concept sketch would be nice for a change  Those who have seen my first concept sketch know I tend to make a mess with lines  So I decided to make this one ‘better’, using my powerful drawing skills in Photoshop.

An explanation would be useful I guess… :

I’m going to create a scene where a group of slaves/servants are trying to escape from my own interpretation of hell  The scene is going to be ‘indoor’ so to speak, with as focal point the pillar in the middle with the stairs…

Those of you who question my idea of a stairway leading out of hell… let me remind you : Demons work 18 hours a day, they too need to relax, and hell is short on pubs and clubs.

Of course, the demon is heading after the escaping slaves, which sould provide the action :). I’m still thinking about a background, but I’ll get to that shortly. I haven’t decided on the character placement on this scene as well, so I’ve let them out for the moment.

#111

I think I’m going to edit my scene a bit. I want to show the end of the rocky stairs, in order to show where the slaves are heading to… This will be the main light source as well, appart from the lava/fire/whatever I’m going to add  So I guess I’m just going to change the perspective, altho I’m open for any suggestrions.

any comments are appriciated

Interesting concept the demon design should prove interesting depending on how you approach it… horns and hoves? or something different?

#113

Deffinetly horns… :), the head allready has 4 of them  I don’t think I’m gonna give him hoves, but I’ll add even more horns to compromise

#114

I liked your WORKING STYLE, indeed. It is funny. For a long time of period, I havent seen such interface atmosphere like yours (i.e. milk box and muscular skull).

(Note: Don’t beat your head so much, its dangerous)

#115

juuust having fun here. I’ll get back to modeling soon.

#116

nice idea you got going there; will your version of hell allso contain a goat-milk-waterfall?

edit: ’ juuust having fun here. ’ <- BOB ROSS WANNABEE SPOTTED!

#117

some more drawing. I’m done with this for now. The demon will probably block the way to the pillar, with the slaves in the foreground :). comments/crits are appreciated. Now it’s modeling time again
