Latest Update: Concept Sketch: Extricating Myself

This is showing my anxiousness from the bottom of my heart.
In terms of concept, a naked man trying to pull out the deeply buried another man from the dried ground which is making cracks on the earth. In between fissure, a lot of green leaves are puffing out. Also, we can expect this kind of good sign will make the two dead trees,far-behind the man, reviving.

Naked man is representing unrestrained myself that’s why he’s wearing nothin. I think pulling off the cloths is a good way to meaning freedom, innocence, essence, etc.
Buried and stretched neck of body is representing restrained another myself by repetitive actual life.
Dried ground and Dead trees are also the elements of it.

I hope to hear all of yours thinking about my concept for the upcoming process.
Thanks.

your concept is deep! like conceptual fine art which is great! something that i notice is about composition , do u intend to make this image look like “illustration” because it too symetrical , 2 trees , 2 cracks , in both site , but I think it’s your first sketch ,and I’m sure you have something in your head! so keep up great work! and sorry for my bad english!

I love the idea and the sketch, the concept is exellent ,one of the best i’ve seen yet , but for me there is few problems about the idea and sketch relationship…
So here my critics :
-The man in the ground don’t look to suffer enough , at first i was thinking he was sleeping , and that was renforced by the hand of the second one , who don’t looks to touch him or to try to keep him out of the ground… I think you should maybe change the position of the second man (the one outside) to facilitate the meaning of the picture
-as monsitj , i think it’s a bit too simetrical , but it’s maybe wanted

  • when you look the sketch by far, you notice the phalic symbol created by your picture , it don’t disturb me and i don’t kwon if it’s wanted or not , but I think it’s not the better way to symbolize innoncence …

Hope that’s help , otherway it’s truely one of the best concept i’ve seen yet for this challenge

  • I understand for your good critic for my concept, but My idea is little bit different with yours.

  • The man in the ground don’t look to suffer
------ I don’t think he should suffer from whatever you think. I’d like to grab a moment that he’ve been lost himself in restrained life by another himself, and now, he is very calm and peace due to get another himself. if you think he seems to be sleeping, that’s my direction!

  • who don’t looks to touch him or to try to keep him out of the ground… I think you should maybe change the position of the second man (the one outside) to facilitate the meaning of the picture
------ Good point, but it’s for real world based on physics.
I hope you to pay attention on his(naked one) eyes. He is looking at the camera, and,in terms of looking, he seems to have some topics to talk to us. I’d like to grab this short moment to make more dramatic moment. I think he should talk to us like " Hey,see, you can do whatever you want , Make the moment for you fella! What a dramatic moment it is.huh?
Anyway, I like your comment for the change of second man(the one outside). I agree with it. Also, this will be my final image. This is a concept for 3D final image. I hope you to perceive about this. Definately, the man(the one outside) should grab another head and pull it out. I’ll make some detail for it on 3D model. Don’t worry!

  • i think it’s a bit too simetrical , but it’s maybe wanted
------- Woods can be symmetrical. Because, I don’t want to make a lot of differences between each tree. Because, trees showing repetitive life in dried and same things. In artistic issue, we don’t have to make everythin to be different, if there is one behind the curtain, even non symmetry is better to avoid boring repetition. cracks and leaves will be different as closer as your thinking as final 3D image.

  • when you look the sketch by far, you notice the phalic symbol created by your picture , it don’t disturb me and i don’t kwon if it’s wanted or not , but I think it’s not the better way to symbolize innoncence …
-------- I don’t know what you’re talking about. there is no phallic symbol in the concept. I agree we don’t have to make it. phallic symbol isn’t good element to mean innocence , free, etc. That’s why it’s blocked by head in the concept. that just a stretched man’s head.

Now, I believe these are good answer for your critics. please, keep on eyes on my work upcoming next. Thanks.
