Good luck to you.
Master and Servant 3D Entry: Martin Brennand
OKAY! Here’s concept number one. The feel I’m going for is a monk-like master that appears benevolent but has a aura of sinister intent. I’m struggling with the overall colour as skin tones don’t go well with colour-blindness! Story to follow…
Wow, I like this idea alote, the emotion in this scene is going to be great, I can already see the expression on the monk’s face.
This is exactly the type of idea I’m looking for.
Good luck with your challenge
Hey Erilaz!
Wish all the best man!
May it all be as fruitful as in the daily sketches!
wow, love the concept
I hope you can make a sinister ambient like you just did in the drawing. When I saw it I thougth like:
cloudy and heavy weight in her shoulders
Starting work on the head for the monk. It’s going to be a tough challenge to complete! Naturally, with my skill level I’m only aiming to finish, not to win!
Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone!
He man I hope you manage something great. Looks like a good start. Some wires would be more helpful though.
:buttrock:
Now get back to work!:deal:
Thanks dmonk… I immediately thought of wires AFTER I posted! From now on I’ll show a cross section of wires/smoothed.
Very slow going… I’m working insane hours right now, so i’m squeezing this in any chance I get! Pummel my modelling with critique! As I’m predominantly a game modeller, I tend to cut corners.
Again, thanks for the encouragement guys.
Hi erilaz. Nice start. The corners of the mouth and eyes need some more edges quick!
Try to get your edges to flow along the face like the muscles would go. Its a bit more work to start off with, but a lot easier to add detail or make changes later. Check this tutorial out: The Hobbit Guy: Dave K’s Poly Head Modeling Tutorial it helped me alot. Good luck:thumbsup:
I like creepy themes. The idea with the monk is great and I wonder how does the hole scene look like? Good luck
I have so little time at the moment, and my home pc is screwed! I’m waitng for my shiny new box to arrive, then I can put this project into gear!

Can’t wait to see this finished!

reading through the posts when I get the time. L8r!
