Master and Servant 3D Entry: marco anciano

#1

marco anciano has entered the Master and Servant 3D.

Challenge Page

Latest Update: Modeling: j-model

i just got to modeling the big J. will texture and biped next. it seems that low-polying the hair and beard and enhance through textures might not work. for gaming yes with the movement/motions and all that, but with a still image? so i will try sculpturing it. what do you think guys?

imaginate.

saw this image in stained glass. for me, a true depiction of a master and servant. i hope i do it justice in this challenge.

personally i like the jesus and joseph one. . . i think its because it is pretty original and simple yet has a very powerful message. good luck and i hope to see some updates soon.

#5

modeling the face of jesus from a negative exposure from the shroud of turin. the picture is a bit spread out but i just want to pick up the facial point of the image rather than resizing it in photo shop. we don’t want a chubby model don’t we. i have to get down and dirty to skinny him up

imaginate!

http://www.shroud.com/ i found it here.

Hi, I think you got a great concept:) But I can’t see much of the face, maybe you can post it shaded?

#8

Just want to say Kumusta na to my fellow kababayan. Like the jesus and joseph idea too.

Goodluck,
Archie

Great concept. Jesus is both a master and a servant. Interesting to see how it evolves. You just may be the first person to try to recreate Jesus’s face from the shroud of turin.

Chino,
This is a nice idea you have , I was thinking of using the Shroud to model Jesus too for my entry. I must say I thought Joseph of Arimathea was God the Father when I first looked at your concept. Good luck with this.

#11

I should you have an really good idea hope you have good luck as well:)

I had a thread going over at the c4dportal, while it was still on the go, on the shroud. You can use that neg to make a displacement map and it works. There is depth information in the image.

I must say that I thought it was god the father. As the father you do get a servant and master in one.

Great idea anyway  Must see if he turns out like Leonardo’s Christ.

Wa up bro. Thanks for dropping by at my thread and thanks for sending me that website. Pretty coool.
Okay, your work is looking nice so far. WHat’s your poly count on this so far? and i want to see ur background, hehe. Man, so you are going to rig this, man, i hate rigging specially when you need to add expressions…OY. I also don’t like doing texture mapping, but it’s a must. It makes everything looks good, but it is so tidius. Anyway, more update…more…more…more i tell ya, MUAHAHAHA!!! hehe.

cheers,
Archie
