Master and Servant 3D Entry: Lee William John Cocks

#1

Lee William John Cocks has entered the Master and Servant 3D.

Challenge Page

Latest Update: Modeling: Cubicle WIP

Starting on the cubicle, since there will be about 300 in scene i am keeping it all pretty simple, no sub-surfing really just edge bevel. the 2nd one behind is just the frame to test how they will connect, from now i think ill model a desk chair, computer, fax machine, power cords, and all the folders and papers lying around. No texturing yet, just 3 shades of grey with the slightly blue area light.

Really nice! I love the skin and the hair texture. Look like basses noted about the lips and the eyes. I think if you clean the mesh abit it would be better.
Cheer! Keep the post coming.

LohnC, she’s looking good.

Did you use the MHsss script for the skin shader?
Nice to see another blender user on the contest.

#6

While modelling the rest of her, just going through lighting and shading experiments, among many this seems to be the kind of direction i want to go.

The theme of my entry will be about something that i am putting up with right now with my current boss and many before: “The Power-Hungry (and backstabbing) Career Woman!” devious type of female this is, and in some annoying cases really good looking.
The entry will be based on a young woman, in the place of power over the bill payers (trying to get that phone bill payed at a boring job and still do CG art 50 hours a week =P)…

woot! nice to see you in this challenge  was a pleasant surprise finding out. I’m excited to see what you come up with- It’s looking pretty idyllic at the moment, the model has come along fantastically, this is by far the best head I’ve seen from you yet. She’s got real “life” behind those eyes.
Wish I had time to participate in this, It’s a nice topic.

She is looking oh-so-fine and there is indeed some molevolance behind that cute grimace

#9

I really like this model…the hair and skintone is great! It looks like she might throw a wink the viewers way at any momemt. Great job!.

#10

#11

beautiful style, very nice deep blue eyes, u’re on to something very nice. Maybe push in the corner of the mouth a little bit, it seems slightly too sharp. That’s all the crit from me at this point, I love it, good luck!

#12

Looks good. I really like the “soft” appearance of her hair and skin. The expression is great too. Looking forward to how you compose this.

#16

looks great and great them on subject, see you and

#17

She very cute. I think you’ve done an excellent job i not making the model look “lifeless”. She not bland and generic, she has a personality and it looks like a bit of ethnicity to her which is refreshing.

Keep up the brilliant work and I look forward to seeing more updates.

wow i woke up this morning with a shock to see all these replies hahah, i have never had mroe then 3 at any post here at Cgtalk.

Thankyou so much for your support, your compliments mean a lot! =D

BlackNull: ah yeah i noticed this, i am a fan of having a bit more of a cushy push into the corner of the lip, i think ill do a bit more work in either the modelling or texturing to fix this, thanks =D

Well ive started her body as of this morning and the basic conept for the scene, i should have some more updates (this time ill include a lot more progress behind the scenes too) very soon, thankyou again for your kind words and insights, Good Luck to all! :applause:

Heres the progress on the hair, since this was a still i wanted to try something besides the normal alpha map on each strand, so i opted to try for something that will look ab it more stylistic in a cg render. Pretty much a layer for colour and specular differences (multiply for colour), and an alpha map to thin the hair a bit. Finally a test render to see how it looked.
