Thanks for the picture, that one is really the best.
BTW I miss this place in Thailand, I wish I was there…
If you put more beautiful pictures I’ll give up this life and come to live in this virtual world. Those places are taking my breath :wise:

I don’t know if you’re going to win this challenge, but the idea of making this virtual community real makes you win the best price ! Friendship !
thanks to be a nice person Laurent and thanks for your art ! :applause:
alexfalchi -> No mate… I don’t try various… I must use all appliances…
rattlesnake -> to resume quickly, I’m actually preparing all electro-domestic appliances for the final scene, after some fridges, some washing machines, I built some TVs… in first, only 8… and come the idea to put in the screen, nature images, send by CgTalkers of differents countries… and so, 8 was not sufficient, I do 8 more TVs with the latest photos… for a total of 16 differents TVs… Note all these TVs are really inspired by real models…
And I don’t, If I recieve another photos of country don’t do, maybe I obliged to do more models :banghead:
Normally… TVs are finish his night, and tomorrow… I place all appliances in the scenes, a total of 27…
And just after, the group of Humano-IDs
atra -> I don’t think to work faster today… the only one difference is the virtuality, I think now I’m really in the challenge, in my scene… in this small world which is in my head… and fabulous views of Thailand are inside too
gpepper -> You know… there’s always a lot of goodest things in this challenge… my pleasure was as you know to divide my feeling and this pleasure to create. Our virtual life is beautiful, no ? :bounce: and certainly that help us in our real life. Merci mon ami Gilles
jdsb -> That’s kind of words touch me a lot you know… that boost my energy… and for sure, my pleasure
Hey… pfiouuut… TVs are finish soon… I can pass to another things… fortunetely.
I’ve planed to do all electro-dom appliances in 5 or 6 days… and now, with the idea of nature… I’m a bit late… but I’m so happy… it’s the most important.
Thanks to come here Alex
And now, I’m waiting the last picture to finish the serie… hmmm maybe ?

…
You have a really whimsical approach; using almost mundane objects like antique household items in a fantastic setting is really appealingly unusual for me.
I’d like to see some wook grain/bark in the tree lady. I worked out a procedural way to make woodgrain a while ago, (though it works better if you plan to use this technique from the start). (using 3dsmax) Basically you use vertex colours to make a gradient going around each branch, so one side is black and the other white. Then with output curves you make that gradient into a wavy line, mix it with noise for randomness, and use the result to displace your mesh. I’m not sure if this idea is any help, or if it makes any sence…
An image I made using the technique described above:

Thanks a lot for this tip Greg… effectively, I’ve planed (if I can…) to textured Mother Nature only with procedural textures, with a blend at the top of the body and her face… but only procedural for the other parts… normally, the simply shader yet in place must help me for texturing… I will see that soon, certainly my work for the next week…
Thanks again and congratulation for your treeface ![]()
