Kolby,
Can’t wait to see where you head with this.
I like your idea so far, there’s room for alot of depth in there. I’d personally love to see you play of the joint-relatoinships between the three, and the various ways they connect to each other.
You’ve actually already got me thinking, if this helps cool, if not. Disregard it completely.
-The Witchdoctor is a servant to his own faith, and to his god. Will he lose his life in the name of faith? His own dedication makes him a slave not only to himself, but to his god.
-The Helper is a slave to the doctor. He obviously doesn’t hold the same level of faith as the doctor, yet he’s controlled by power, and fear. Will he be destroyed by the destruction around him, by his dedication to his master, or by his fear of the two.
-The Witchdoctor could be restraing his helper. Holding him by the wrist not allowing him to give into his fear and escape. The Doctor could even be pressing his servants hand against the scrolls, as the servent trys to back away, he is shouting out to his god. This would not only show the dominating relationship between the doctor and his servant, but it would also reveal the doctors weakensses and fears.
- Lastly a cool idea would be to have the people around the innocent lion god, sacrificing themselves, or mutilating themselves in the name of their god, in an attempt to cross over. The god is shocked and horrified by the scenes around him. As if to say “this is not what how it should be, you have it wrong”
Just throwing some ideas out there, take them for what they are.
best of luck.
