Master and Servant 3D Entry: Juha Heiniö

#21

Great sketch Juha.
Good Luck

So where is the updates?

Yeah I know you are busy with the head (Insider information… you guys are not suppose to know about it )

Just came by to note an idea that might add to your hallway design:
Since this guy is keeping it as safe as he can manage to keep it. Would it not be possible that he has a handful of secure gates that he has to pass in oreder to get to the final vault?

I know it would really make it harder to put that into your composition. But you are a very exceptional designer, and I believe that the vault itself is the only thing you are left to show off your talents with, at the moment.

Like everyone else, I am impatienty awaiting your updates.

little update… sketch from the vault door.

#24

thanks… nice that you have liked my sketches…
sorry my delayed updates… that head …head head… huh
well i think it goes fine now… that security door thing really might work…
i want to add some contrast on the scene anyway… really simple concrete pillars and maybe this really degorative " blacksmith style" gate between servant and the vault… that might look good… thanks really much Black…

and back to working with head…

#25

Very interesting concept you have going on here, I cant wait to see it realized in 3D…should turn out to be a unique piece to say the least.

#26

Hey Juha,
Cool colored drawings:D! Good decision to make it in warm colors.
I like the feeling of mystery behind that door - for me seems to be an evil hiding there…
Last update of a door I like more, but I agree also with the very first composition!
Professionally done!

#27

Great! So you are going to go for a secure entry!

I’d love to see what comes out. I had guessed you would go for something oddly technicalmixed with ergonomy. This was sort of a suprise… LEts ee what you come up with!

just quick update… so im working with the head now " my first head ever , need more this and that and lots of tweaking, but progressing…

#29

Hi Juha,
I’m doing the same as you. First time I’ve made a real human head from scratch. I’m trying for a young girl. Yours is coming along nicely, it’s trickey eh?

#30

well thakyou… i have done one body before, it wasnt so hard, but this head really gives me some challenge… but it starts to get better…

#31

You know what they say;

Make a good head… the body will follow!

Or wait… do they say that?!

It’s going good Juha… expecting some more!

#32

Hey Juha,
Come on matey, lets see some more of that modelling.

#33

just little update… been busy with some other things… i think my head needs still lots of tweaking and ears…

#34

Hi there, you know, your head doesn’t need as much tweaking as you might think. just smooth the lines such as the eyes, which now seem like they are sunk into the socket.

Keep going!

#35

thanks guys for your comments… seems that i have to start that head again… i had a little computer crash and i lost my head files and some other stuff as well , well i need practising anyway…

#36

Am I going to be the only one of the CG-Talk forums with the privilage to have seen your latest head from a few days back?

Come on Juha… people are actually waiting for an update you know :wip:

I KNOW you are VERY busy, but time is actually running out here. I wishso much for you to make it through before the time runs out!

Good luck!

sorry my delayed answer . yeah im really busy with some school stuff right now… but i managed to model that head a bit today, so im gonna post some updates tomorrow. i allso startted to model the overal scene and the vault itself. so something is going to be here tomorrow… and really , thank you . you really keep me going…

#38

nothing important

#39

hey juha great progress… models looking fairly ok… as you said still need to tweak it a fair bit to get the look your after… i think you would need to add a lot of definition in the mesh. Just an example would be the nose the way the nose is connected to your fac if you just look in the mirror theres a good groove in there… the lips as well… but this is still a wip dont be disencouraged… this is looking great just needs tweaks here and there…good luck juha

#40

ok heres new head… need to fix those few bugs on the surface, and tweak that nose a bit ,and eyes and lips… i allso tried how light affects on the face.#important part of my scene… well back to work…
