started the texturing. There are some more details to add.I hope u like it so far.I used a photo of my girlfriend as a reference and for the texture.Next will be feet and hands.
Hi all, i chose for my subject a part of greek mythology. Its the story of Hades and Persephone.
Hades is one of the six Olympians. He and his brothers divided creation into thirds and each took a portion for their own. Hades chose, as his dominion, The Underworld.
When mortals kneel before the cold hearted Hades, he metes out somber justice and no one, once there, can ever leave his domain.
Hades abducted Persephone the daughter of Demeter (earth goddess who blesses all phases of the harvest) and force her to be his wife.
Demeter raged ,cursed the land and no seeds grew and all fields remained empty unless she get her daughter back. Zeus and the other immortals were worried that this would be the end of mortal life on earth .
Zeus forced Hades to return Pesrephone to the world of light but he tricked her by giving her a forbidden fruit that made her return to the UnderWold for one third of every year. Each time Persephone returns to Hades, Demeter hardens her heart and the earth is wracked with bitter cold and harsh winds .
This story actually explains in mythology the existence of winter.
I ll try and make Persephone under the submission of Hades and his servants, captive in the Underworld.Hope you like it

i ve started modelling the servant but its not finished yet.I also must finish the sketch hopefully tomorow.
i started the model in zbrush and then chopped each part and painted with topology brush.

to me, the shoulders don’t look right, they should be moving in a downward slant… I’m not sure how to explain it ;(

i would tweak the hands a bit although i dont know if they’ll be visible or not…
epsecially in the part of the finger and palm…
i’d use ctrl+drag in silo for that …
This contest is infected with ZBrush :twisted: …Trust me I say that with adoration and curiosity. Looking forward to seeing how all these ZBrush entries turn out.

Biceps need some definition and a little better placement …BUT for sure this is a very promising character…

well is the servant a human character or a monster?
Cant really say anything about the shoulders, a side view whould help
other that, the fingers look a bit too much spread or something
i mean he has some big hands bbut small fingers.
I whould prefer a skiny servant but thats just my taste.
