I dont think i have ever posted here, but have been visiting daily for years. I have been dying to get into a contest, and I was basically joining this no matter the topic.
I am not great with the internet, so posting my progress should be interesting at first…

Here is the slave with more modeling.
Gears, and engine parts put under the hood. Balloons and rope added, knots took awhile, and you can hardly see them.
I’m not sure what your concept is, i.e. what the interaction between the master and servant are (or are going to be), however, I think the model you’ve done so far is really quite awesome. It’s got a very unique style to it. I’d like to see how you end up texturing and coloring it. Keep up the good work.
Here is a more complete concept sketch showing how they may interact. It still may change, and i am unsure what if anything will be in the background…(clouds i assume) but this should give you a good idea.

The images and modeling are really coming together. I am really digging the style. It reminds me of something out of Heavy Metal…but even more imaginative. Good work man!
Ok, here is most of the modeling of the master guy. He may be small so i am not going to go overboard. I was just digging how his Mits (man boobs) and his love handles came out.
awesome work so far, this is the first time ive stumbled across your wip but its really great. i really like the character of the sketches, its a very mischevious look. the modelling so far is very close to the sketches as well which is good. no crits unfortunately, im looking forward to seeing how it progresses.:bounce:
Here are the preliminary balloon materials. I tried to go with a natural “skin” look to the balloon itself, while using a leather look for the carriage. I am just trying to keep everything natural looking, perhaps a bit worn and used as well such as the worn patches on the carriage from the fan blades …The nipple part of the balloon mat still needs some tweaking… stretch marks etc.
