here u go, we really aren’t gonna see his feet so i might not even bother modelling him, he’s a finished body, now onto clothes and hair, then to the female of the scene hopefully i can have her done in short order like this guy. then it’s onto modelling the scene and texturing. stay tuned!

Good progress on your human model. Espeically your timing. Quick reslults.
Careful when attaching your feet to the ankle, not to make it look short.
How are you proceeding with the hair?

#13

well, heres the female in the scene, she’ll be the one rooting through her groceries when dante’s hand will take over. hehe

anyways, this really is a milestone because this is my first female model…EVER. i started out modelling dudes and just never got around to the typical “just another female” thread so please stay tuned im prolly gonna need crits on her.

#14

here’s josie from the head to neck, there are some collarbone issues i’ve already addressed since making this image. here u go critique away.

interesting concept. a couple of crits: both your characters seem to have very large eye openings. you might want to try putting an eyeball with a properly sized iris texture into the openings, so that you can see how the facial expression is going to look; you male character needs an edge loop or two running down from above his nostril to the chin like the female character has. also, there are a number of places where loops seem to end in ngons or tris, which will make animating the face difficult. keep it coming!

#16

here u go, once again first female model ever, i got the official thumbs up from my sister on her breasts looking accurate, anyways check it out.

#17

Good modeling indeed. I agree from above, add some eyes. Surely you can see hows she’s going look and how the facial expressions will come out. Test out the SSS also, can get some mood going there.

#18

well here’s josie’s torso, im almost done with her character, then i need to make some final adjustments to both characters, eyes, teeth, gums, hair, clothes, and then i’m onto modelling the scene. critiques help me improve my work and are appreciated. thank you

heres an update after a few days, check it out!

#20

Body seems like it’s coming along. Nice to see your taking your time on your characters. Curious to see your layout. But keep in mind the amount of time left.

#21

heres the male character with his eyes textured. i added the sss skin shader i have in my library and one directional light.

#22

heres’ josie’s eyes as well

p.s. thanks to antropus for writing an excellent tutorial.

#23

almost finished modelling the scene, as you can see it looks very incomplete but i only need the corner of the store for my scene so everything else wasn’t modelled. just have to model the ceiling lights. going to the local wawa later to check and see what they look like. tell me what u think.

#24

…characters coming out well. Start adding some food inside those freezers and shelfs…get that scene together. Interesting to see your lighting setup…
