Just testing the model and seeing if I have any horrible creases. Almost at final model stage. Need to fix the eyes some more. And finish out some other portions. Crits/Comments welcome.

Great to see you here, all the best for the contest. One thing , I think you have to have at least one human type character in the image. I just read the contest rules quickly but I think i remember them stating something to that effect.
Anyways, like your sketch and idea.

Thanks Mike must have not read it well enough. Now have to rethink my idea. Puts a limit on the creative process.

No offense, but your girl looks like a retard right now. I suggest looking for some photo references of children faces and study alot before you start modeling… There is more to fix than just “the eyes”.
I dont wanna put it down on black and white for you… But as a simple example, try to make that expression yourself. Look in a mirror… you will understand what i meant by “looking retard”.
Don’t rush it, plan, study, execute.

Well while I appreciate your comments. The model is close to final. But not done. Please read my posts fully before commenting. I stated: “…And finish out some other portions” And I don’t appreciate rudeness. Perhaps if you gave a real crit and stated some problem areas that would be better. But stating it looks like a retard is very lame. I know there is more work to be done on the model as I stated. I merely pointed out that the eyes were a real trouble area. Not to mention the model has no ears! Next time if you are going to comment be constructive or don’t comment. Thanks again.

How will people know what you mean by “portions”?
what if someone made a long indepth critic to your model, just to find out that you knew about that problem and where on it just as that person lost all their time trying to help just because you didn’t have time specifying what was WIP and what was not.
I’ll await your next update and give you constructive critics with images and all. But please dont “merely” point out things that you consider WIP.
And please Post more views if you want real constructive critics and suggestions. front side, perspective etc.

Sorry if I sounded rude, I’m not used to put sugar on top where I work. I feel that being honest and direct has a bigger impact. it might hurt in the beginning, but with time…
Though I agree that using “retard” to a person I don’t know was to much.
Not asking for sugar on top. Just if you think there is something specifically wrong with a WIP of mine then please specify. Rather then just making rude comments. I’d rather you actually say that the eyes are too wide apart. Or the forehead is to large. Just help me out. Thanks for the apology. Don’t sugarcoat things. Just be a bit more descriptive. I appreciate all feedback, just clear feedback.

Its looking good so far , I think I would make the forehead a little bigger and shrink the Eyes, nose and mouth as a whole with respect to the face. Look forward to some updates.
