Well…I took the “dog” out to play fetch and threw the ball really far…he’s gone now LOL.
Honestly, I wasnt feeling that character style for the servant especially after looking at my Master Character. I mean my master guy is supposed to be this kick a-- rogue wizard thief type. What the heck would he look like paired up with scooby doo??..I wasnt about to let that happen.
Anyway, the style of character I want for the servant is more like this one here. So today I can home started over and started to shoot for a Gollum type character as in my concept art…but without the canine facial features 
Well I was about to call it a night until I popped into 3DRavens thread…pfftt this guy is knocking out a character in a couple of hours!!!
Although I have to work in the a.m. I pressed forward This is just a early shot of the new servant and body.
In my concept picture, I actually have the master lowering im down with a chain around his neck!!!..that’s killing him LOL. So I figured a harness would be more humane

Honestly, I don’t like the look of the pet now. I liked it more when he was innocent looking, that enhanced the whole “master protecting his pet” type thing… because now it looks like the pet could kick some serious ass with kung fu or something, look at those eyes, hes like “I know im bad ass, want a piece of me FREAK!?”

I dunno, I think your straying a bit too far from your concept, which I personally liked alot.
As for the harness/collar thing, why not just have the pet holding ON to the rope himself, with his 2 feet and one arm (spider man anyone?) and grabbing the grena…er… I mean jewel with his free hand (so he would ne upside down you know?)
also another idea is give him LOONNNGGGGGGGG ears that are pulled back behind his head and that curl at the end…
The pet doesn’t look friendly anymore :sad:

With that being said, I couldnt call it a night. Especially after one of my friends messaged me and said my last update was spot on but the harness looked like a friggin sports bra!
Now that would have had me tossing and turning all night thinking about that statement, so I decieded to go ahead and detail the harness aka “Sports B” so I could sleep!

You just changed one up on us, next tiem give us a warning. Great model, but…i think he looks a bit too human even though we can tell he’s not human (not a normal one atleast). Maybe he could be a bit more creaturish.
The plot thickens. Maybe give the servent a small pair of horns?? He’d seem les human and would show he’s not so innocent… Nice work on the model good clear egde loops

about the harness - maybe remove the center area and have staps going across it so that it doesn’t look like a bra, just a thought
